Imagery Exploration: Who Do We Need to Be & What Could Get in the Way

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

General Instructions:

On the following pages you will be given two focal questions to frame the conversation:

  • Who do we need to be as a team?
  • What could get in the way?

You will browse a set of images from which you will choose 1 image that represents the framing question:

  • It is preferable to be in a location where you can focus (quiet or background music)
  • The images are deliberately diverse and global in subject, context, and aesthetics. The images invite examination – they are visually interesting.
  • Browse the images and chose one for each framing question. You can expand the images with the “+” in the top right corner.
  • The connection between image and question can be literal, or it may be emotional, metaphorical, aesthetic, or intuitive.

Once you have chosen an image, you will reflect:

  • Examine the image you selected and reflect on how it connects to the framing question.
    • What is the image?
    • What is happening in it?
    • Is there anything surprising in the image?
    • How does the picture connect to the framing question?
