C2C Roleplay Scenarios
At our upcoming Conflict to Creativity event roleplays will be an important, customized foundation for practicing the C2C skills. It’s best to have roleplay scenarios directly related to you and the overall organization.
In the form below, please submit scenarios where two or more people find differences that can lead to conflicts that naturally arise in your relationships. Include details like each others’ roles, sense of urgency, impact, power differential, etc.
The examples below provide an outline of how to do this. You are free to include more than one scenario. The more the better!
Example Scenarios
-
You hear rumblings that one of your direct reports is frustrated about the amount of time the team was given to launch a new campaign and has been sharing his/her lack of confidence that the initiative will be successful.
-
You have a great idea for a new program and are excited, but in the past have felt like your ideas have been shot down before they’ve even been given a chance. Still, you decide to take your idea to your manager despite fearing a repeat of the past.
-
A colleague comes to you with a complaint about another member of the team who he/she perceives is not pulling her/his weight on the big project. The team member is very passionate about this project and doesn’t want to see it fail.
